Kenneth M. West II Joins SRMC as Assistant Administrator
We are thrilled to have Ken back with us where weve had an office anxiously awaiting his return, said Tim Tobin, CEO of Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center. With Kens accomplishments and experience, he will no doubt bring amazing ideas and insight to our team. Previously, West received his undergrad from Louisiana State University and went on to earn his masters of science degree in health systems administration from Georgetown University, where he was involved in multiple professional, social and civic organizations and received numerous honors and awards. Following his work as a resident at SRMC, West completed his internship at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD, by serving as operations integration intern. He spent approximately three months at Johns Hopkins where he participated in a variety of hospital-wide initiatives involving project management and clinical and operational integration for the recently acquired Suburban Hospital into the Johns Hopkins Health System. Transitioning from the role of administrative resident to now assistant About Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center: Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center is being constructed on a 75-acre campus located just south of Fredericksburg and Exit 126 off of Interstate 95. It is licensed for 126 beds (all in private rooms) and will provide a full range of in and outpatient services including 24-hour emergency care, obstetrics, advanced diagnostic imaging, intensive care, cardiac catheterization |
